Cookie policy
Every cookie this site can set, what it does, how long it lasts, and a switch for the ones that are not necessary.
What a cookie is here
A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. We
also use localStorage and sessionStorage, which work the same way from your point of
view. Where this page says cookie it means all three.
The three categories
Strictly necessary — always on
These cannot be switched off because without them the site does not work. They are set by us, they stay on your device, and none of them identify you to anyone else.
| Name | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
cerveauvifhq.consent | Remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner. | 12 months |
cerveauvifhq.theme | Remembers light, dark or your system setting. | Until cleared |
cerveauvifhq.search | Keeps your dates and guest numbers as you move between pages. | End of session |
cerveauvifhq.announce | Remembers that you dismissed the announcement bar. | Until cleared |
Analytics — off unless you say yes
Aggregated counts of which pages are used, which devices people use, and where the booking flow is abandoned. We use it to fix things. It carries no advertising identifier and is not joined to your reservation.
Personalised offers — off unless you say yes
Lets us and advertising partners show you offers elsewhere based on what you looked at here. In several states this counts as sharing even though we are not paid for it, which is why it is opt-in and why you can turn it off from any page.
How to change your mind
Select Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page. Your choice takes effect immediately. There is no dark pattern here: rejecting everything optional is one click, exactly like accepting, and the buttons are the same size.
You can also clear cookies in your browser, which resets everything including your stored consent, and we will ask again.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as a valid opt-out of sharing and targeted advertising without you having to do anything else.
Third parties
This site loads one third-party resource: the web fonts. That request reveals your IP address to the font provider under their own privacy policy. Nothing else is loaded from anywhere but the server this site is hosted on. There are no social pixels, no session recorders, no heatmaps and no advertising tags.
